Andrea Branzi (1938 - 2023) studied architecture in his native city of Florence. In 1966, he founded the Archizoom Associati with Paolo Deganello, Gilberto Corretti and Massimo Morozzi. The group is considered the founder of anti-design. In 1975, Branzi was a co-founder and member of Studio Alchimia together with Ettore Sottsass and Alessandro Mendini.
