In the ALESSI catalogs the set is called "RIO", I don't know why, the French designer Pierangelo Caramia uses the oval shape in some of his designs

the shakers were never used, never filled, the wooden base (I assume beech) has a small pressure mark, I also have the tea strainer (Happy Egg) from Caramia on offer
